Scandinavian fashion isn't always about muted colors and straight lines. For one of the most successful brands in all of Scandinavia it's actually quite the opposite - at Baum und Pferdgarten fashion is all about being playful and going full on with bold colors and expressions.
Creative Directors Rikke Baumgarten and Helle Hestehave are behind the brand, that is based in Copenhagen.
"Copenhagen is about embracing the beautiful and fun things in life, whether it’s art, food, music or fashion. Copenhagen fashion is just a bit more brave and fun than the rest of Scandinavian, or at least we like to think so," Rikke and Helle tells us.
We asked them to recommend you their favourite places for a fun day in Copenhagen.
Den Vandrette is a wine bar located close to the historic Nyhavn. They serve nature wine with the most delicious food. And later during the evening they always turn up the music with Madonna and Beyonce, what’s not to love?
Værnedamsvej is a street in Vesterbro Copenhagen, where they have the best shops. Go to Blomsterskuret for a beautiful selection of flowers, Shop Dora for the cutest interior and Jerome Vintage for the most amazing vintage in Copenhagen. Then finish with lunch at Granola.

SMK (National Gallery of Denmark)
SMK is a beautiful museum with both contemporary and classic art from all the great. The building in itself is a masterpiece and afterwards you can go for a stroll in the park surrounding the museum.
